Upon the initiation of the DAO, there will be three types of grants available to blockchain projects, smart contract researchers, and white hat hackers:
- Audit Grants — Any protocol may apply for an audit grant. Applications will be assessed and voted on by the DAO.
- Protocol Bounty Matching — Any protocol with a smart contract security bounty may apply to have their bounty matched (fully or partially) by Hakt DAO. Smaller projects that may have less funding available for bounties will be prioritized.
- Security Stipends — Any white hat hackers may apply for funding for efforts put into protocol vulnerability research and discovery.
